Welcome

We are an approved vendor for Arlington ISD and other north Texas schools. We work with Grand Prairie, Kennedale, Mansfield, Midlothian, Fort Worth, Crowley, and so many more!

We are an Arlington-based 501(c)(3) non-profit traveling museum founded by an engineering professor and aerospace engineer.

All traveling exhibits are aligned with elementary and middle school TEKS and available in Spanish

Current Exhibits

Music Makers

Using kid-safe tools, we create different instruments out of upcycled materials

This looks fun!

Save A Duck

After reading a book, our thinkers will work with mini ducks and trucks to create a system where they can all share the roadway

I want to save all the ducks!

Discovery Bubbles

Hands on learning with the size of bubbles, shape of bubbles, and bouncing bubbles!

Put me in a bubble!

Up, Up, and Away

Join Thinkatorium for an exciting hands-on event where kids explore the science of flight by experimenting with a wind tunnel and building and launching hot air balloons, all under the guidance of a real-life aerospace engineer and pilot.

I can't wait to fly!

3D Sprio Art

Students explore the science of light through art as they design dazzling spirograph creations that spring to life with their very own 3D glasses

I can't wait to fly!

STEAM Night

How Thinkatorium STEAM Nights Work

At Thinkatorium, every STEM Night is designed to feel like a pop-up science museum with amazing arts integration—customized just for your school community. We can plan and run an entire STEAM Night with a wide variety of hands-on exhibits, or seamlessly plug into your already well-thought-out event by bringing one featured exhibit plus additional interactive stations for extra fun and flow.

Our core experiences include a wind tunnel,3D Spiral Art, Discovery Bubbles, and Music Makers (with two different making tracks). We often add crowd-favorite side stations like giant marble runs and tinker-and-create play.  Schools can even add a live demonstration with a real engineer explaining how a hot air balloon works through elements of dance.

Students are encouraged to bring a bag so they can take home their inventions—and every child gets to choose a science-themed book to keep, making the learning last long after the night ends.

All posters and written materials are provided in English and Spanish.

We also provide a Canva template for you to use our logo and photos to promote the event!

Our STEAM Nights typically host between 100 to well over 350 people. We customize the size to your needs.

Choose 0-4 Mini Side Exhibits

Mini side exhibits are a great way to encourage students of all ages to discover. Often in STEAM nights, one sibling might be really into a main exhibit and another sibling is ready to move on. This is where our mini side exhibits help!

  • Tinker and Create: Screwdriver based exhibit to make anything you can dream up! We have an extra large set. so the sky's the limit! Students often make cars, doll houses, picture frames, and other shapes.
  • Massive Marbles: We have giant boxes of marble runs that allow students to collaborate and/or race marbles. *This one does include marbles which may be small for some students
  • AirToobz: Flexible tubes powered by airflow that let kids experiment with air pressure and motion by sending lightweight balls flying, floating, and racing through the tubes.
  • GoldieBlox™ Build & Create. Powered by GoldieBlox, this mini exhibit invites students to design, build, and problem-solve through hands-on engineering play. Learners work with tons of GoldieBlox kits to test ideas, collaborate, and iterate—just like real engineers. It’s an open-ended, confidence-building station that sparks creativity and engineering thinking for all ages.

Hot Air Balloon Demo

This exciting add-on is a 15-minute interactive presentation that explores why hot air balloons fly. Though it’s called a “demo,” every student participates—learning about density through movement and even helping launch a hot air balloon. It’s fast-paced, high-energy, and unforgettable!

Books for All

We see literacy as a vital part of discovery, so we curate a wide selection of engaging, kid-approved science books. Every child gets to choose a book to take home—helping curiosity and learning continue long after the event ends.
